This remote, water-rich corner is famous for its spring-fed landscapes, sweeping vlei plains, and some of Africa’s last remaining mega herds of buffalo – with groups over 1,000 strong! It’s also the top spot for lion sightings in the park, not to mention regular encounters with cheetahs and African wild dogs. Add in sable, roan, reedbuck, elephant and more – and you've got yourself front-row seats to the wild.

Getting here is a breeze – just a 20-minute flight or 2-hour drive from Victoria Falls, or a scenic 430km road trip (or 1-hour flight) from Bulawayo.

Robins Camp combines rustic charm with local artistry. The chalets are decorated with hand-painted Matabele designs and upcycled elements, offering en-suite bathrooms with high-pressure showers, mosquito nets, and overhead fans for those balmy Hwange days. Flexible layouts mean rooms can be set up as king or twin – or triples for families.

Choose between two unique settings:

• Acacia Chalets: 18 thatched units in the west of camp, including a cosy laager setup perfect for private groups of up to 40.

• Mopane Chalets: 18 contemporary units in the eastern section with covered verandas for wildlife watching and bush coffee moments.

The heart of Robins Camp buzzes with safari spirit – relax at the semi-open restaurant serving continental and cooked breakfasts, à la carte lunches, and hearty 3-course buffet dinners. Fancy eating under the stars? The lush garden area is ideal for alfresco meals, with a tea, coffee, and juice station running all day and sweet treats served every afternoon.

Cool Off & Wind Down
A crystal-clear pool and shaded loungers await for those midday cool-downs, while the Hyena Bar is the perfect post-game-drive hangout (adults only). There’s also a hilltop viewpoint above the restaurant – just the spot for sundowners and sweeping views.
