Day by day
Day 1
Johannesburg - Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities.
Thereafter, met by our ground handler representative and transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2
Kigali City Tour and Genocide Memorial
After breakfast go on an informative city tour of Kigali including a visit to the genocide Museum for the morning (lunch at the hotel) and later transfer north west up to Gorilla Mountain View Lodge - approx. 3-hour drive from the city. Check in and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3
Volcanoes National Park - Gorilla trek day
Breakfast and take a short transfer to the Volcanoes NP headquarters where you will meet up with excellent local guides/rangers and trackers, who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, hike into the forest with your packed lunch to spend the day with the amazing gorilla family/s. Evening at leisure at the lodge with dinner.
Gorilla Mountain View Lodge – Standard Room FB Basis
DAY 4
Gorilla Mountain View Lodge to Kigali
After breakfast, you have the option of experiencing the Golden Monkeys in the Volcanoes National Park (additional cost) before your transfer back to Kigali to check in to Serena Hotel for your final night - dinner on own account (B&B).
Day 5
End of itinerary
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward international flight.
