Day by day
Day 1
Johannesburg - Kigali
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will proceed to clear with immigration and custom formalities. Thereafter, met by our ground handler representative and transferred to the Hotel.

Day 2
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Reserve
After breakfast go on a brief city tour of Kigali including a visit to the genocide Museum (Packed lunch) and later drive through the border town of Kisoro and continue to Cyanika border post. Cross into Uganda and drive to Bwindi and check in at Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Kigali - Gorilla trek in Southern Bwindi + Drive to Kigali
Breakfast and take a short transfer to Bwindi NP headquarters where you will meet up with excellent local guides/rangers and trackers, who will give a talk on the etiquette of gorilla trekking. Thereafter, hike into the forest with your packed lunch.
Later, after the trek depart for Kigali via Cyanika border post. Arrive Kigali early evening. Check in at the hotel for dinner (own account) + overnight.

Kigali
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward international flight.
