Moja Tuu The Luxury Villas & Nature Retreat
HOTEL OVERVIEW
Where Seclusion, Space & Zanzibar’s Natural Beauty Meet
Hidden along the peaceful East Coast of Zanzibar, just steps from the soft sands of Kiwengwa Beach, Moja Tuu Luxury Villas & Nature Retreat offers one of the island’s most tranquil and exclusive escapes. Surrounded by whispering palm trees, lush forest, and the rhythmic sound of the Indian Ocean, this secluded resort invites you to slow down, disconnect, and experience Zanzibar in its purest form.
Designed for travellers craving privacy and space, Moja Tuu features 20 elegant private and semi-private villas, each offering expansive terraces, lush gardens, and beautiful indoor–outdoor living. Many villas come with their own private infinity pools, while others share serene pool spaces tucked between tropical greenery — perfect for couples, families, or groups who value quiet luxury.
Every villa frames Zanzibar’s natural landscape, creating a soothing sanctuary where modern comfort blends effortlessly with nature. Guests can enjoy in-villa spa treatments, floating breakfasts, and peaceful afternoons watching the light shift across the ocean — all without ever needing to leave their private retreat.
When you do step outside, Kiwengwa Beach awaits with its long stretch of powdery white sand, warm shallow waters, and postcard-perfect sunrise views. The peaceful location means fewer crowds, more authenticity, and a deeper connection to the surrounding island life.
With exceptional space, privacy, personalised service, and a setting that celebrates the island’s natural harmony, Moja Tuu Luxury Villas & Nature Retreat is an incredible choice for honeymooners, families, and travellers seeking a refined, nature-immersed holiday in Zanzibar.

What To Pack
As a guide, the maximum weight for checked luggage is 20kg in economy class and 30kg in business class. Your hand-luggage should not weigh more than 6kg and needs to be small and compact.
Take along your best beach and casual wear, perfect for the day. A light rain jacket might come in handy in the event of the occasional rain shower. Sunglasses and suntan lotion are a must. Flip flops, sun hat and a beach bag. If you’re planning on adventuring around the island (there’s so much more to see and do outside of your hotel!) be sure to pack a pair of comfy walking shoes, and lots of suncream!
-
Take Your Own
Don’t forget any medication that you might need, and be sure to pack it in your hand luggage.
Chargers for all your devices (it’s a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited).
Take along your own goggles & snorkels – even though your resort will have this equipment available free of charge or to hire, you’ll probably be happier having your own.
Mosquito repellent. An underwater camera is a great idea.

Travel Tips
Pack a change of clothing in your hand luggage in case of baggage delays (and a spare cozzie so at least you can have a swim when you get to your resort). No sharp objects are permitted in your hand luggage (yes, tweezers are sharp!). Put electronics, medication, toothbrushes and jewellery in your carry-on bag.
Travel insurance is a must. If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford to travel! Travelling with kids – please check that you have all the relevant documents including unabridged Birth Certificates.
It’s often a good idea to let your bank or credit card company know that you’re going overseas.
