Kuredu Island Resort & Spa
HOTEL OVERVIEW
One of the Maldives’ most vibrant and character-filled islands, offering a lively, sun-soaked escape with stunning beaches, clear lagoons and a wonderfully social atmosphere. Set in the Lhaviyani Atoll, it’s especially celebrated for its rich marine life and exceptional diving, thanks to nearby reefs teeming with turtles, rays and colourful fish, plus easy access to world-famous dive sites. The island’s long stretch of white sand and shimmering lagoon make it perfect for snorkelling straight from the shore, while golf, watersports and sunset cruises add an exciting sense of variety to each day.
Despite its energetic spirit, Kuredu caters beautifully to different types of travellers. Couples can retreat to tranquil beachfront corners, enjoy romantic villa options and unwind in adults-only areas, while families have plenty of space, activities and welcoming facilities that make holidaying effortless. Its sprawling size gives guests room to explore, with multiple pools and distinct zones that allow for both peaceful relaxation and a more upbeat, sociable vibe—something few Maldivian islands balance so well.
Dining is a standout feature, with a choice of diverse restaurants and bars offering everything from laid-back beachfront buffets to intimate à la carte venues, giving guests a real sense of culinary variety throughout their stay. The resort’s all-inclusive options enhance convenience and value, making it easy to simply relax and enjoy. Accommodation ranges from cosy beach bungalows to luxe overwater villas, each designed to blend comfort with that authentic island feel and effortless access to sand or sea.
Altogether, Kuredu delivers a fun, memorable and multifaceted Maldives experience—ideal for travellers who want more than just sunbathing. With its lively energy, beautiful beaches, fantastic snorkelling and diving, and something for every style of holidaymaker, it’s a superb choice for those seeking both adventure and relaxation in a truly idyllic island setting.

What To Pack
As a guide, the maximum weight for checked luggage is 20kg in economy class and 30kg in business class
If you’re taking a seaplane transfer, the luggage allowance is a little more restrictive than your commercial flight - you are allowed 20kg per person of baggage and one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 5kg.
Take along your best beach and casual wear, perfect for the day. A light rain jacket might come in handy in the event of the occasional rain shower. Sunglasses and suntan lotion are a must. Flip flops, sun hat and a beach bag
-
Take Your Own
Don’t forget any medication that you might need, and be sure to pack it in your hand luggage.
Chargers for all your devices (it’s a good idea to take along a few movies on a tablet or something similar as the English TV channels in your hotel may be limited).
Take along your own goggles & snorkels – even though your resort will have this equipment available to hire, you’ll probably be happier having your own.
Mosquito repellent. An underwater camera is a great idea.

Travel Tips
Pack a change of clothing in your hand luggage in case of baggage delays (and a spare cozzie so at least you can have a swim when you get to your resort). No sharp objects are permitted in your hand luggage (yes, tweezers are sharp!). Put electronics, medication, toothbrushes and jewellery in your carry-on bag.
Travel insurance is a must. If you can’t afford it, you can’t afford to travel!
It’s often a good idea to let your bank or credit card company know that you’re going overseas.
