- Travel Documentation: Passports, visas, unabridged birth certificates/single parent permission affidavit are required for all travelers leaving or passing through South Africa with children under 18 years of age, failure to carry the correct documents could lead to immigration and airline refusing to allow you to travel and re-entry permits are the sole responsibility of the passenger. African Fusion Travel does not accept responsibility for clients travelling with incorrect travel documentation. The documents must be dated within 4 months of first arrival into SA.
- Visas and Vaccinations: It is up to each client to ensure they have the necessary visas/transit visas along with the vaccinations, prior to travelling. YELLOW FEVER CERTIFICATES required for Botswana/Kenya/Uganda/Rwanda/ Tanzania (Zanzibar) and Zimbabwe/Zambia if travelling from yellow fever recognized area. Please check as list changes daily http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/list. It is highly recommended that all travelers have a yellow fever certificate for travel around Africa, as rules change on a regular basis and we cannot be held responsible for any changes in the laws.
- Passports: All passports must have two blank pages available and be valid for 6 months from date of return. Temporary South African passports are no longer issued by the Department of Home Affairs and are not accepted in many countries.
- Travel Insurance: is highly recommended, to cover you for cancellation/curtailment in case of death, illness, flight delays etc.
