DAY 3 (and until day 6) – HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Today we head to the famous Hwange National Park for a big-five adventure in a private tented camp – this is Africa at its best! Our transfer time is approximately 3.5 hours to Main Camp where we enter Hwange and then it’s a game drive to our camp at Kennedy 2 where camp is set up for our private safari.
This camp is all about the freedom of adventure, and we’ll purposefully not stick to any particular routine, allowing the bush will tell us where to travel next and walk and drive up on animals as we encounter them. It’s an incredible photography opportunity – cameras to the ready! Each day is tailored to suit our group interest and preference and your guide will host you with a profession team to ensure your comfort and safety on this real African adventure. We may head back to camp for brunch / lunch or pack a meal for a full day out – this is where you get to choose how you spend your time on safari and enjoy the wild to the full.
We return each day to camp at sundown, an exciting event for bush life – when dusk gives way to darkness and predators begin to move… Time to enjoy a home-style dinner or a traditional African ‘braai’, and then huddle around a hearty fire to reminisce the day and contemplate new adventures tomorrow.
On our final day we’ll game drive to Hwange Main Camp to connect a transfer to the World Wonder!
