If White Water Rafting wasn’t enough and the Gorge Swing was too little… why not try out the White Water Rafting and Gorge Swing combination? Here’s a day filled with two heart-pounding activities on the Zambezi River that’s bound to get your adrenaline pumping. Not only are these only extremely exciting activities but they’re also in an extremely exciting place - not many can say they’ve flown across a world wonder like a bird or danced in the water like a fish.

The White Water of the the Zambezi has been given a “Grade 5” on severity by the official British Canoe Union (6 is considered to be unridable commercially.) Clients are expected to be reasonably fit for this activity as there are all sorts of different muscles used. Those under 15 unfortunately cannot join.

For a comfortable experience be sure to bring along a swimsuit + cycling shorts, a t-shirt, sunscreen and lip balm, sturdy shoes (such as trainers or rafting shoes), a peak cap that will sit snug under a helmet and if you wear glasses, make sure you have something to secure them fast to your head.

White Water Rafting & Gorge Swing

Soar like an eagle over this breathtaking Natural Wonder of the World – defy the laws of gravity with the Gorge Swing as you’re flung through the air and back again allowing you to fly with only just a rope, it feels a lot like free-falling.

The White Water Rafting has a high season and a low season. High Season is between the 25th of December to the 10th of August where you will ride through rapids #1 to #19 and then there’s the low season between the 10th of August to the 25th of December where you will ride rapids #11 through #23.

This extreme combo will likely take up the whole day but it’s certainly worth it if you’re seeking out some excitement in your relaxing vacation away from the workplace chaos.
