All of the cabins on the Umbozha Houseboat are en-suite and come with air conditioning. Accommodation is made up of 3 family cabins each with a double bed and 2 adult bunk beds, 2 twin + 2 bunks (suits 4 single adults), 2 double bedded cabins and 2 master cabins with queen sized beds. Full sonar navigation for night travel, this boat can traverse the entire lake.
The middle deck is comprised of a spacious dining/lounge and living area, as well as a breakfast corner. The lounge is equipped with a flat screen TV, full modern music system and DVD player, as well as a small selection of DVD’s and books (but please brig your own DVD’s). The guests can enjoy the shaded Jacuzzi, surrounded by a sun lounge and situated at the front part of the boat on the lower deck. The top deck next to the captain’s wheelhouse is the perfect place for spotting the morning or evening game.
Power: All of the Umbozha fleet have generators powering the lighting and wall sockets at 240v as well as a 12v battery system when the generators are not running. All plug points are UK Square pin (please bring suitable adaptors). Generally the main generators are switched off between 10 and 11pm whereby the 12v battery system takes over until morning.
