All of the cabins on the Karabezi Houseboat come with air-conditioning which is a blessing in disguise for the hot African days. Accommodation is made up of 2 double en-suite cabins, 2 twin en-suite cabins and 1 twin en-suite cabin. The Double cabins have adjoining twin bunk cabins so they can also function as family cabins however, this is optional and can be blocked off if you’re just travelling as a pair. You also have the option of sleeping under the starry night sky on the top deck for a truly enchanting and romantic experience.
There is a breakfast lounge with a large flatscreen TV as well as a DVD machine (so make sure you bring along some of your favourite films!) and a mini-library filled with reference books. The breakfast lounge is a relaxation area which comes with a breakfast bar. Alternatively, there’s the fully equipped kitchen which has 6 hob gas stoves, fridge & freezer, 3 large deep freezers, a microwave and a toaster. You can also help yourself to the Tender Deck which has a braai area or seat yourself at the main bar area.
