The two Luxury Rooms stand as all inclusive and sleep two guests. Each room features its own private balcony and seating area with supreme views over the park. Indulge in the mini bar or make use of the tea & coffee facilities – any time of the day.
There are two different types of self-catering lodges: the Nhambo and Family Lodge. Each lodge sleeps up to six guests making it perfect for those travelling groups or as a family. There’s a shared kitchen, dining & braai area as well as its own plunge pool.
The biggest and best feature of the lodge is it’s beautifully tended gardens which are bedded all around. With all kinds of flowers and greenery it pulls you right back to nature and giving almost a sense of being on a tropical island. Watch hippos and elephants wade in the water while you dine on a mouth-watering menu fit for royalty in a classy dining area.
If you’re looking for a place to relax for the rest of the day, you can make use of the beautifully decorated and sumptuous lounge – or you could cool off in the crystal clear swimming pool.
But we’re just getting started! don’t forget about the library filled with all the African classics – or the fully stocked bar area where you can indulge in some African beers and wines.
Take part in game drives or hikes around the Gonarezhou National Park, a gigantic park filled to the brim with African wildlife such as lions, hyena, cheetah, buffalo, hippo, giraffe and wild dogs to name a few; don’t get us started on the ample bird life!
Make exciting excursions to the epic Chilojo Cliffs or make cultural visits to the Mahenye village to get a taste of raw Africa. And of course there’s bird watching, with over 500 species of bird you’ll have a hard time trying to see them all.
Take a 3 kilometre hike through Chivilia Falls or spend a night in a tented camp for a little bit of an escape from all the luxury.
The biggest problem you’ll encounter is that there’s actually too much to do and too little time, you’ll be begging for an extra week.
