Botswana has stunning and unique landscapes all year round. However, for maximum enjoyment and sightseeing pleasure, it’s recommended to go on these once-in-a-lifetime hot air balloon rides from April 18th through to end of September. This means you get to view the Okavango Delta during the flooding season; during this time the floods create small islands in the wetlands of which you’ll see a myriad of wildlife grazing or wading through the marshes. You won’t want to forget your camera for this excursion.
Each balloon trip lasts around 45 minutes and on your return you will be greeted with champagne before returning to your camp for brunch.
