The Blue Zebra Lodge is an exclusive hideaway, ideal for your honeymoon getaway with all the privacy you may need with the island being completely uninhabited.

There are many different types of rooms starting with The King Fisher, a large tented chalet with a separate sitting room, a lodging built for two; the 4 Luxury Chalets; The 5 safari Chalets and then there are 2 different types of family tents such as the The Cormorant and the Fish Eagle which both support up to four guests.

Dining & Entertainment

There is restaurant and bar on-site at the lodge. The food is known to be excellent with three-course meals, each with two choices of each. Breakfast is complimentary and offers both hot and cold components all served by helpful and friendly staff.

Hang out at the bar before and after which is located right by the crystal clear infinity pool overlooking the lake; or enjoy a sundowner by the sun loungers around the pool to soak up the hot African sun. There’s no better way to relax on your island vacation.

Surroundings

Bored of all that relaxation time? Unlikely; however there are plenty of activities to take part in via the lodge to allow you to experience the exclusive island at its full potential. Activities such as kayaking, boat trips (and sunset boat trips,) snorkelling, bird watching and of course scuba diving where you get to see a handful of secret spots in the ancient and seldom explored lake.

Malawi is world renowned for its sheer concentration of birdlife and is considered a birdwatching paradise with over 650 different species of bird. Whether you’re a bird fan or not, this is certainly not an activity to be missed.
