The Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa is located on the beautiful, mountainous island of Silhouette, just 19 miles from the main island of Mahé. The resort sits between the island's steep rainforest-clad slopes and a pristine white sand beach, with incredible views of the Indian Ocean's bright azure waters.

Originally only a small lodge housing visitors to Silhouette Island, the stunning Hilton Seychelles Labriz Resort & Spa now features a choice of 111 contemporary style villas in garden or beach settings, some with plunge pools. Guests staying at Hilton Seychelles Labriz benefit from a complimentary aperitif on arrival, in-villa tea & coffee, free Wi-Fi internet access and Espresso machines in Deluxe Rooms.

Guests arrive either by helicopter from the international airport of Mahé or by fast cruiser from the administrative district of Bel Ombre, a 40-minute boat ride taking in views of the dramatic high peaks of Silhouette Island.

The resort occupies one end of a sandy beach in front of a shallow lagoon and has incredible views towards North Island and Mahé. Excursions to Mahé and surrounds can be arranged, if it is adventure you’re seeking. The interior of the island is completely undeveloped and most of it is national park land. The waters around the island are a marine reserve, so snorkelling is out of this world! The humidity is always high, but Silhouette offers some of the best walking trails in Seychelles, well worth it, when you’re not resting in your beautiful air-conditioned villa.

The resort offers six restaurants, including a pizzeria and Grann Kaz, which is set in an old plantation house about a 10-minute walk from the main property. It specializes in Creole dishes such as red snapper flavoured with lemongrass and the likes. There is also Japanese at the Teppanyaki as well as fine dining in the Italian-themed Portobello restaurant. Breakfast is served at Café Dauban, offering a sumptuous array of cooked international dishes from dim sum to noodles as well as cereals and a selection of fresh fruits.

Labriz is popular with families for its shallow lagoon off the beach and large swimming pool. Guided walks, cycling, tennis and a kids' club (for children aged four to 12) are on offer as well a Padi five-star diving centre. The deluxe hillside villas are designed with families in mind, and there is one two-bedroom presidential villa suitable for those at the top end of the budget.
